Great boots and cost effective!

I ws relucant to spend $190 for Muck Boots so started looking for alternatives. If there wasn't an acceptable alternative I would just bite the bullet and get the Muck Boots. Supposedly they are great and they should be for the price. Then I found these boots and questioned the $50 + price tag. My hunting boots - Sorels, were like the Muck Boots.

Well, after trudging through the snow walking a yellow lab - and that's only mentioned as they require lots of time walking and their tail never stops wagging. These boots are lighter that my Sorels, absolutely water and snow proof, and with a little waterproofing with Scotchguard (not needed but I did it anyway) - they are comfortable to walk in, even with a blown knee, warm and serve their purpose quite nicely. They have a better sole than the other boots I looked at - been wearing them in the snow for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier.

I would seriously recommend these as a more cost effective alternative to more expensive. Jeff Bezos might not like me saying that - he's got more money than God - he'll get over it. I'm am extremely happy with these and the nice thing - I can buy three pairs of these for the price of the Muck Boots!

Only worn them twice, once around the house to see how they would feel and they were very comfortable. Then out on a Christmas tree cutting trip. My feet were again comfortable and warm. I wear a size 10.5 shoe, a 11 combat boot and these were a 11.5 so I could wear heavy socks. I did not feel as the boot was loose or tight and I could move my toes.
