Excellent product even without the main shut off valve. I've had these for several months so far. They were very easy to install and easy to set up with wifi. They never seem to go offline either. I'm very impressed!! The sensors pick up even a drop of water. I had thrown a wet shower cap under my sink along with all my other toiletries and even the few drops that fell from the shower cap was detected. I got a alert on my app and an email alert. I'm definitely going to consider investing in the shut off valve.
My only complaint is that the sticky pad that holds the sensor box on the wall is VERY WEAK! The stick doesn't hold up for more than an hour. Moen should consider correcting this. Otherwise, it's an excellent product! It still works well and does the job even when not stuck to the wall so it deserves 5 stars. You can't go wrong with this!
