The Kasa App is fantastic - and integration with Google Home works great. These bulbs work well as advertised. They connected quickly and easily to my WiFi and haven't had a hiccup since (unlike the bulbs from another brand they are replacing that kept losing connection and were difficult to pair at first). The light is bright and the color choices and can be made any color or white color temperature which is nice. The only downside is that occasionally they have a barely perceptible slight very high speed strobe-like flicker to them (even at full brightness). This wasn't noticeable to others without it being pointed out. Other than that occasional issue, they would be 5 star.

Bought these for bedside lamps in our bedroom to integrate into my smart home setup. We like the fact that we can change the brightness for different times of day (ie- low light for getting the mind ready for bed at night).
I have them linked to a remote button so that we can have different settings depending on the number of clicks up or down. Only issue is that they will randomly go offline for no reason and then none of the programed buttons work. All I have to do is manually power them off then on again and they will usually reconnect. Not a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance.

First I downloaded the required apps to set them up, and all I got was a requirement to “upgrade” to premium service for $12.99 per month! Eventually worked around this and could not get a connection. Tried to work with “Hedrikson” in customer service - no resolution but other than “hummmm”. DO NOT BUY FROM KASA
