I bought a reversible umbrella for myself and my sister liked what it offered so much she asked me to get it for her for Christmas.Benefits and Things of Note:- Love how many different options there are. I get bored with solid colors and if it is going to rain then my philosophy is that I should have as much excitement in the rain as I possibly can. The pictures on it are tasteful and add just a pop of color that add a bit of pizzazz.- Absolutely perfect for when you walk into a building. One of the best things about it is that all the water gets trapped inside the closed up umbrella. Meaning that when you walk into a building you aren't dripping water and don't need one of the plastic covers they offer you at the entrance.- Getting out of and into a car is made a lot simpler and easier during heavy rain moments. All you need to do is barely have your car door open to close up or open this umbrella, which is a nice change from regular umbrellas where you have to basically have to have the car door wide open to close them up.- Handle has a little more to grab onto than other umbrellas, which is nice when you have other things in your hands. Definitely allows you to have more in your umbrella holding hand if you need to.

The second one I received has been very reliable so far, it opens smoothly and always clicks into place properly. As of yet it hasn't yielded to any strong winds, either. It lasted through a rainy month with no issues. This being said, the first one I received failed after only 4 or 5 openings. The umbrella got stuck in the open position. It would not respond to its button being depressed, and even an extra person pushing down on the umbrella while I held the button and pulled did not close it. It was replaced hassle free, though, so all is well. The first one had to be thrown out, as there is no way to ship or store an open umbrella.
As far as operation goes, it is incredibly convenient, being able to open the umbrella between a car door is extremely handy, and it does hold the wetness inside if you stand it on it's handle when you bring it inside; just as well, you can pour it off into the sink before you store it.
If you have good luck, the first one you receive may be like the second one I received. I would advise opening and closing the umbrella, and otherwise using it a large amount when you first receive it, so you find any issues before amazon's return window closed.

We don’t get a lot of rain where we live from May-September, but my mom used it for sun protection. I originally stated that the umbrella broke after a few months, I was wrong. It has been more than two years and my mom keeps it her car, still uses it and stated it has held up wonderfully with no problems. Great buy!

I just love so much about them. How the wet part stays on the inside and doesn't wet you when you are sitting on the bus, how you can open it from inside a car before you get out so you don't get wet....

I thought the sunny day pattern would be so uplifting to stand under and look at on a cloudy rainy day, And it is. But it could be even nicer if the blue part were in a paler shade of blue. The black behind it makes it look dark already , so a paler blue would have been even nicer, But I still do really love it,
