My yellow Lab is crazy for Frisbee! It's her favourite thing. This one is briliiant. The colors are bright and really pretty flying through the dark. It's made playing with her even more fun. She waits by the window for dark because she knows what comes as soon as the sun sets: night game! The lights make it easy for her to see the disc flying (a help even during the day) and therefore easier for her to catch. We have four of them so we always have one in the air for her to run for, which means she goes to bed exhausted and is an angel all night long. (Beware, if you are shy or self-concious, you will inevitably have an audience if you pair these surpsingly pretty flying discs, with a dog who can catch them in her mouth--especially if you play near children!)

Exactly what you’d expect of a frisbee, also with pretty bright lighting. Very happy with this. The electronics are resilient to normal abuse of playing with it. Biggest issue is with replacing the batteries - uncapping the battery holder is extremely difficult, but doable, although it’s definitely possible to break the whole electrical part in the process. Takes 2 super thin 3 volt round lithium batteries. The kind I bought were too thick, so only one battery would fit, but it still turned on and worked fine with just the one thicker battery.

We play with this frisbee while camping at dusk and into the night. It's so much fun for everyone about 8 years old and up to participate with. Highly durable and apparently water proof because sometimes it lands in the pool and it still works! And floats! The light is super bright and it's so cool to see it flying through the air and then just randomly stop by a silhouette. When all 15 of us get together, you can't tell who caught it unless they say something or they have a distinct sound they make when catching it (like me). Love this frisbee!

I love my flashflight!!! I had one, but I misplaced it, so I bought a second. It's so cool being able to play frisbee at night! And the colors changing makes it that much more fun. Just make sure you can't trip on anything! My first one had a slightly different battery compartment which popped off easily on impact. You twisted it to turn the lights on. The second one had a very secure push button that took so much effort to turn on that I thought it was broken at first. Even the guys at the battery store and on our camping trip couldn't figure it out until my brother set it upside down on a picnic table and gave it a good push. After we figured out the button, it worked fine--even better than the first one--and I didn't have to worry about the battery cap popping off or water getting in if the grass is wet.
Even during the day, it's still nice because it has a nice weight and is a nice translucent white color. No rough edges. It might be a little heavy for small kids, maybe, but the wind doesn't affect it much at all. My brother pointed out that the battery/light compartment on the bottom might make catching uncomfortable for serious frisbee players, but it doesn't bother me at all.

The first time we played with it. It was spectacular. He was beside himself before I threw it the first time. It was easy to throw. Flew long distances. It was simply fantastic. To my disappointment, after 15 minutes of playing fetch with it, it ended up full of holes from the dogs teeth, and the fiber optics started to fray off of the underside of the disc. There was no tugging or pulling of the disc in those 15 minutes. He doesn't even catch it in the air as of yet. All he does is picks it up from the lawn and runs back to me to throw it again. He's not rough with it. Just doing the things that dogs do. All the damage you see in the pictures below is from those short 15 minutes.

I love your product but I'll have to find another solution so my dog and I may continue our night games of fetch. To the developer, If you ever decide to make one for dogs, one that sacrifices performance for endurance and still remain beautifully lit, I'll buy 4.

Bought the multi-color/disc-o-select version to play with my son after dinner since its dark now thanks to end of daylight savings (why is this still a thing!?!?).

Throwing: Easy to throw and pretty well balanced. I am able to consistently throw this straight 50-70 yards with no issue. The edge does have a slight curl inwards and if you grip it too hard you will slice the frisbee when you throw it.

On/Off: To turn on, you simply push the button in the middle. Its easy enough for my 5 year old son to do it. It automatically starts to cycle through the colours with pausing about 8-10 seconds on each. This is the mode I predominantly use it in, but if you push again, it will hold that colour. Push and hold to turn off.

Colours: The whole frisbee does NOT light up. If you look carefully at the photos you will see veining/bars on the disc where they ran the LED. Looks like a giant asterisk while you are holding it. When thrown, it spins fast enough that it creates the illusion that the disc is lite up and does a pretty good job.

Durability: Its made of a hard plastic and I have no doubt it will physically last as a frisbee for my kids to play with. Whether the LED light functionality continues in 2-3 years, that remains to be seen.

Batteries: We've played with this on several occasions, probably totaling 10+ hours so far and batteries still work. My kids like to turn it on in the dark while we are walking to and from the field, so run-time is probably even higher. I set of replacement batteries are included which is nice, but contributes to the increased cost.

Price: This has to be my only complaint. Its a very expensive toy given you can buy a plain frisbee fairly cheap, but the LED functionality is a very cool novelty that my kids and I do enjoy.
