Need additional locking nuts and washers for larger counter top holes

Need additional locking nuts and washers for larger counter top holes
My counter top has an existing hole of 1 3/8 inch that is greater than the white plastic (1 inch outer diameter) inside the Escutcheon, which is needed to hold the spout straight and tight. The installation requires counter top hole size to be less than 1 inch. A work around is to have a 1 inch or slightly larger but smaller than counter top hole size along with additional set of locking washer and nut that will hold the spout tight without affecting flush mount of Escutcheon. With this work around, any counter top hole size greater than 7/16 inch and less than 1 3/4 inch (diameter of Escutcheon base) will work.Brondell customer support is great. They don't officially support this method but did send me additional set of locking washer/nut along with Escutcheon. The rest of install is straight forward. There are many bubbles from initial filtered water. I tested the TDS before and after and the difference is small. I certainly hope it will greatly reduce PFAS, the main reason I am getting this filter.

Extremely easy to install and delivers polished and palatable water! A few days after installing it, the faucet started dripping…very slowly. I contacted the company and they immediately shipped me a new faucet and asked me to return the faulty one. The new faucet resolved the leaking problem and we are happy campers.

Made in Korea, filters and all. No way anyone should trust Chinese made water filters. Great quality, easy system install. As important, the filters are easy to install and remove. I had a system where filter were internal and required unscrewing a container, not easy under a sink. These filters are easy and secure. Takes seconds. I had no issues with leaking. Short of undersink reverse osmosis system (they makes a good one too) you can't beat this triple filter one.

I bought this because Consumer Reports listed it as being effective against PFAS. I replaced a reverse osmosis system which rated poorly and took up too much room under the sink. This unit fits easily. Installation was complicated by the fact that all the connections for the RO system were differently sized, otherwise install would be simple.

This water filter was easy to install. The instructions were very easy to follow. I was a little surprised that there were no leaks the first time I turned on the water, but all the seals and connections worked the way they should.

The water tastes like...well, nothing. Which is, I suppose, how water should taste. We have a bit of sulfur and iron, and the filter takes care of that. I chose this filter thanks to its good review in "Consumer Reports."

The filtered water looks a little cloudy at first, but on closer inspection, the water contains very small bubbles. Not sure how those get entrained in the water, but it doesn't affect the taste. Given a bit of time, the bubbles disappear.

We bought this filter after reports of a contaminated well in our local water system. Consumer Reports reviewed it with high marks and I'm happy to report that we are quite pleased with Brondell so far. The system was very easy to install - the directions were straightforward and everything worked perfectly. I ended up drilling a new hole in our stainless steel sink to fit the new filtered water spigot and although I was nervous about it, it worked fine (see below for what I used). Once the filter was installed, the whole family was pretty amazed about how good the water tasted, and I'm afraid we'll be spoiled from now on!

To drill the hole in our stainless steel sink, I used this BOSCH CO2159B 1-Piece 1/2 In. x 6 In. Cobalt M42 Metal Drill Bit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q8DPV56) and some Tap Magic 30004P ProTap Cutting Fluid (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00065VEP4) with a basic hand-held cordless drill. I first tapped an indentation in the steel where I wanted the hole to go with a hammer and nail. Then I drilled very slowly and used plenty of cutting fluid, and paused a few times to clear away the metal shavings. After about five minutes, I ended up with a perfect hole!

I had been using a pitcher filter and was getting super annoyed at the slowness of the filtration. After much research I zeroed in on this model because of its certification and the vast number of filtered chemicals, heavy metals, etc.! I was dreading the install as I am not a plumber just a diyer. But I need not have worried, I was very happy with the easy install. First I read the manual, which is well written and easy to understand, definitely guiding the process. Unfortunately for me I had to drill into my granite composite sink for the additional hole for the faucet. Two things that helped me accomplish this task were the diamond tipped hole saw I wound up buying at 1/2", close enough to the recommended 7/16th and the fact (which I didn't realize) that if you crawl under your cabinet you will see several cut outs for additional holes on the underside of the drop-in sink. Once done with that I mounted the faucet, which is a tad smaller than I thought which aesthetically speaking, looks better than if it was as big as my faucet. So that was easy. Of course I had shut off the water supply line previously and now was ready for the T- coupling, all went well with the brass fittings. Then I leveled the filter housing (as recommended) and sunk the screws. Now for the good part, I added the in and out elbows and the filters. I chose to screw in the filters before I mounted the whole assembly because it was easier. Finally I mounted the whole thing and plugged in the water lines, opened the water supply line and waited for leaks. All good! The fittings all worked well, water tastes excellent and it was easy to install.

Taste is as good or better than our pitcher filter. Install took 30 minutes and was very easy. I recommend.

Update Feb 2021: A year later and the system is still working well but it's time to change the filters. No problem right?
Well for some reason the price for a replacement set of filters in Canada has jumped to $150! What? They are $70USD at every store in the US but they are $150 at every store in Canada which tells me that the company has no presence in Canada and every store needs to ship direct from the US at huge markup.

If they can't distribute replacement filters in Canada at a reasonable price then go with Watts. $80-90 for a year's worth of filters.

Very happy with this unit. Flavour of the water is great, all the chlorine and funkiness is gone. When we first moved to Durham we were fine with the water, but if late (probably from being home all day everyday) we can’t take the after taste and getting water bottles is just not sustainable. Unit went in very easy as others described. Made sure we installed the o-ring in the valve and pushed the quick connect tubes in form. No leaks! Looks cute on the sink (like a baby version of the main tap). Good that it has certifications to back up claims. Very glad I took the leap.
