COMFORTER CLIPS

Clips attach inside duvet cover to prevent shifting & bunching

1. Place the comforter on the bed. Turn the duvet cover inside out, and place it on top of the comforter.

2. Clip one corner of the duvet to the comforter. Repeat remaining corners.

3. Turn the duvet cover right side out. The comforter is now inside the duvet cover. If needed, adjust the cover from the outside, by gently pulling on the corners.

I LOVE THIS. I paired these with the Magnetic Duvet Stays since I wanted to have options. I have the magnetic stays on the inside of the duvet cover at all the corners and these padded clips are on the sides. While these clips are marketed and shown to be used on the corners, I had zero issues using them on the sides. I'm working with a king-size duvet and THREE layers (the duvet insert, a waterproof cover, and the duvet cover), these clips had no issues at all holding all these layers together. I saw someone say the padding on these is Styrofoam and that's not true. It's just a soft padding to cover the metal clips.I'm finally able to sleep without having an entire duvet insert bunched up one side of the bed! Look at how evenly distributed the duvet is on my bed in this pic!! This pairing is a win!!

I've tried several types to secure the corners of my duvet, but these simple things don't require thumb strength - so they Win! I didn't know my thumbs had lost strength until I tried the round 2-part donut-like plastic clasps (sort of male/female parts) where the duvet cloth goes over one and the other must be pushed through the other). Lordy! Depressing! None of that with these. They have stayed put, have not ripped the material, and are easy to use. They are not a heavy-duty item, but the right cost/value to my thinking. I still will try to purchase duvet covers that come with ties at the corners, but for those that don't..., these are my go-to.

NOTE: I came back to add this note as I know how important this thumb strength issue is for many others. I believe I bought these in 2020, but can't check now without losing what I've written.

These clips are a game changer! Securing duvets into covers just at the edges invariably leads to the comforter slipping and bunching which not only looks messy but is uncomfortable. I was concerned that the clips would be hard and noticeable but the soft coating is virtually undetectable. If your duvet cover does not come with corner ties I do recommend getting two packages to guarantee minimal displacement.
