    Used these dolls for a diorama on Slavery in America for my son's school project. It was a shame that I could find a figure mooning or flashing, and all manner of other ethnic groups, but nothing when I was looking for African American dolls for this project.

    A terrible part of American History but I was proud of my son for wanting to tackle it at school. These dolls helped me do that. They looked beautiful in the scene and represented the subject with as much dignity and grace as little wooden dolls could muster. I was proud to have them as part of the project.
