I don't know how much you can say about this. When there is a fly and I swing this at the fly, the fly dies. That's what it's supposed to do. I haven't had it long enough to speak to durability, but honestly it's not expensive and you get 2, so I figure they won't last forever. Meanwhile, bye bye flies!

This fly shatter is absolute garbage. I bought it at the end of summer so really have scarcely used it, and it has ready flown into bits. You can see in the photo all the pieces missing before it finally just fell in half today; every time I used it (not often) a piece fell off. I don’t know hope to research a durable fly shatter but I can certainly say this is not it.
