Purchased this when my old faithful heating pad finally quit working. I did a bit of research before buying this one. The cord is extra long which allows me to use it in different parts of the house. The auto-cut off safety feature provides peace-of-mind. I use this heating pad every single morning while I eat breakfast and it has never failed to perform. The cord needs to be firmly attached to the pad; I learned that at first I thought it WAS but the heating pad wouldn't work as a full connection was not being made.

Okay, so the first few attempts at using this heating pad, it didn't work. It wouldn't stay on for longer than 30 seconds or so, and didn't get close to warm. I tried every single outlet in my home, I thought that maybe due to the heat here in Arizona, that this heating pad went bad from being in the mailbox for a few hours.

However, now it works. Granted, it doesn't get as hot as my previous heating pad (same exact brand and type), but it's still close. I need an intense heat for that time of the month. If something just gets "warm" it can't penetrate my muscle tissue enough to soothe the pain. I can't tell you how many heating pads I have purchased and have either given away or thrown out. They just don't get hot, they're more along the lines of a "warming pad" than anything.

I was heart broken when I gave my beloved hot heating pad to my father in law (he needed it for his back), I thought I could find a replacement easily. NOPE. Took me over 3 months to find this MaxHeat heating pad. Omg I'm so thankful I could cry. Buy this.

With other heating pads that I’ve used, after a few uses, they sort of stick together in weird positions. Or the plastic will bother me (The covers never stay in place). This has a nice, big soft area.

I have autoimmune arthritis and this heating pad gives me more pain relief than any other product I’ve tried. It’s flexible so I can use it on my shoulders, or my hips, down my back, or even around my leg.

Are use this product more in the rainy or at winter seasons but I’ve had it for over a year and I am still loving it. I am online today to buy a second one for keeping in another room.

This is my second heating pad. It is much nicer than the my previous one, which was only a couple of dollars cheaper, but ways less quality, even though it was made by a well known national brand. This one has the heat coils running throughout the fabric, and is easy to shape around where I want it to be. Whereas the other, which was a moist/dry pad, had a plastic pad in the middle of a cheap sleeve, that bunched up and the pad slid around or fell out of the sleeve. The fabric of this pad is a much nicer feel than the fabric of the other one. The size of this one of about 10 inches longer than that one, and that makes a huge difference. I can wrap this one all the way around my both of my feet if I want to warm them up. The other could only be on the tops or bottoms at once, not all the way around.

I use it several times a day also at night off and on . I get at least a years use out of it . It’s a automatic I replace every year as it gets so much use . I have had it go out at about that time so now I just buy one about that time .
This one does tend to get very hot on low at times , I haven’t noticed with others.

Absolutely LOVE this heating pad. It’s a great size especially for back pain bc it covers your whole back. Some heating pads get warm for a bit then cool off then warm again but this one stays consistently warm. The same setting is great to fall asleep with and when the real pain kicks in, the higher settings do the job. I just have one issue, see we take care of a stray cat on our patio and now that it’s cooling off outside I had the bright idea to give him the heating pad(on lowest setting!)under his blanket to keep him warm. That was 5 months ago and I have gotten to use it since Lol. So this is both human and feline approved.

After a few weeks of using this heating pad, which I REALLY liked, it began malfunctioning. When I turned it on to the lowest or next to lowest heat setting, it jumped to the highest and would not move from there. I had to unplug, wait awhile, and then sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I requested a replacement since it was within 45 days.
Now, the replacement has begun doing the same thing! It’s been less than 45 says but I don’t see the option of returning this again! I may try calling Amazon and asking for a refund.

I kept buying because it heats up fast and gets hotter than most heating pads. This product use to be sold in Walmart for only $20. I can no longer find in Walmart anymore. I am revising an earlier review in which I said this pad does not get hot enough. I upped my review from 3 to 5 stars. I'm not sure why it seemed at first the pad was not getting hot enough. Is it possible it needed a break-in period. After using it 5 or 6 times, I now usually using setting 3 out of 4, and it is hot enough for me. I like the design of this heating pad and it works fine. It is soft and flexible, which is a great improvement over the old stiff nylon types. I bought this to replace a heating pad I had for many years. I have been very happy with it. The automatic shut off is a bonus. If you use it for a long time, you may need to restart it at some point.
