Needed a rack for the front bedroom/home office. I thought this would fit nicely. Took me about 20 minutes to put it together and install it.

Once I got it in and put the bikes on it, I said to my brother: "That's never going to stay up". But, three months installed, a few hundred times taking the bikes on and off and it hasn't budged.

Looks great, works great, easy install. What more could you want?

Heavy spring-loaded top piece pushes against the ceiling for a solid mount. I have only one bike on it now but it could easily support the weight of two. My only suggestion is to replace the M5 screws that hold the arms to the pole. They are cheap, soft metal and the heads would strip out quickly if you need to re-adjust the arms. I went to a local hardware store and bought 8 stainless M5 allen heads for about 3 bucks. They will hold up much better.

First, the pole slid off my ceiling (with bikes!) and nearly decapitated me in the dead of night (yes, it was in my small apartment bedroom)! The spring-bearing capacity that locks the pole in place entirely failed. But even before that disaster: I attempted to adjust the holding arms, and the small screws warped so badly I could not make height adjustments for my two bikes.

So, basically, this product failed to serve its purpose... and, it nearly killed me!
