Pretty, but relatively delicate
Loved the shape and size of these glasses! I really liked how they feel and their look but some have broken.I’m not sure if it’s just user error but 2 of the 4 have broken over the 4 months I’ve had them. One was by hand washing where the stem snapped off (we do typically use the dishwasher for wine glasses to avoid this precise accident but had a lapse in judgement) and one was from accidentally tapping it with a dish (not hard). Like a lot of reviews mention I had bought these because of a Wirecutter recommendation and had hoped that they were more durable. However like I said they’re very pretty and feel nice in your hands if you’re maybe more careful than I am.

Just got the glasses today and was excited as I had friends coming and what better way to enjoy new wine glasses then drinking out of them. They arrived and one glass was broken. The packaging doesn’t seem all that sturdy for packaging of wine glasses, but only one broken out of 12 isn’t to bad. As for the glasses, the red wine glasses are nice and large and look very elegant. They would fit in perfectly in some high end restaurants I’ve been too. The same goes for the white wine glasses. The glasses have a nice wide opening, which allows for your wine to continue to breathe. All in all these are great glasses and would highly recommend them. They still get five stars even though one was broke as the product Libbey made was great. Just the shipping process was to much for one of the glasses.
