I bough this because I needed a steamer with dual voltage for international travel. And surprisingly it is really hard to find a dual voltage steamer. And the ones they do have are huge. This is the smallest and most compact. It’s also the lightest in weight. Which is why I bought even though I’d had one before and didn’t love it.
It’s one of the worst made steamers I’ve used. Very oddly shaped. Bad material. Feels flimsy. And my past one developed mold because it’s awkward and kind of hard to clean. But its steam ok. And I’m an overpacker who needs every inch and ounce of space. So this won out. And it’s fine.
But I am counting the days till someone else builds a small, light weight dual voltage steamer that’s better than this. It can’t be hard. Please someone get on that.

Wow, this travel steamer works great in the UK and the USA. The thing I’ll miss the most about the UK, though, is the 220 volt electrical supply!
that makes all the appliances heat up so quickly!

This steamer is very lightweight, effective, and heats up super quickly in the UK. Like all my dual voltage appliances, this takes longer to heat up in the USA than in the UK. But that’s not the fault of the appliance. The handle is sturdy when in use but collapses with the press of a button.

Yes, the area you can steam with one pass is rather small, but I’ve been doing just one athleisure polo or long sleeve SPF shirt each morning. So my garments have only been thin ones. I don’t know how well this would work on cotton, but I almost never wear cotton garments anymore, so it’s not an issue for me.

Of course, because it’s small, you really can only do 1-2 lightweight articles of clothing before you need to refill the water reservoir. To do that, you need to let it cool down (or use a very think oven mitt?) so you can remove the top to get to the reservoir.

So if you need to steam more than 2 articles of clothing at a time, or if you’re doing 100% cotton, this may not be the appliance for you.

However, this has been working out great for me. I am pretty much just steaming one shirt every morning during my trip.

This is also super easy to pack and has not leaked yet that I have noticed. Of course, I have emptied it before putting it in my luggage. I think if you don’t empty it, water would flow out where the steam comes out.

I definitely recommend this item!

I was very disappointed with this product. It doesn't have an on/off button. It takes a very long time to heat up. The steam is not even and it leaves water marks on your clothes. The design is very poor and it makes it awkward and uncomfortable to steam clothes. The tank is difficult to drain and if you travel with it and it still has a bit of water stored, it will wet your bag and it's content.

Honestly I was suspicious about this steamer but travelling in summer with a lot of linen articles I really need help. I tried it and it WORKED beautifully. My linen skirts and dresses are back, and I did not feel wrinkled on me. It was almost perfection but we must let the item a short time to settle before wearing it otherwise it will be wrinkle faster. Easy to pack in suitcase and easy to use with any European AC adapter. I am so happy I did try and it was so successful.
