This is my second time purchasing this frying pan. I purchased the first one over a year ago after doing a lot of research about the best and most affordable non-stick frying pans. I had purchased a Caraway frying pan and was extremely disappointed with it, as it was quite expensive and started to build up residue after only a couple weeks of usage. This Tramontina pan worked effectively as a non-stick option for me for a full year and I only recently started to get a residue from the spices built up on the pan while cooking. I use this pan at least 5 times per week, as I cook quite often. I have used it for a wide variety of different meals. It is dishwasher safe and is super easy to clean. It does not scratch easily and I feel like it heats up quickly. This is the best non-stick pan I have ever used and is a particularly great option, given the cost. I also have the 12-inch version and it is great as well.

This pan is excellent. No issues with coatings or anything. Cleans so easy. Nothing hardly sticks to it. I've had 4 of those pans seen on TV (Copper brand and Red something and others) that do not last more than a year or perform for squat. I researched this pan before I bought it and I think it was consumer reports that ranked it #1 or #2 overall. I love cooking with it. Silicon handle cover is good up to 400 or 450F. Slip off the handle cover and it can go to 500F directly in the oven. It's made in Brazil. Very hot.

I make veggie omelets every morning, so my frying pan is always in use. For years I’ve bought a nonstick at a discount store and beat the heck out of it. But, I decided to do some research and invest in a pan this time. This brand was highly recommended by wire cutter and is continually on par with All*lad. It is absolutely beautiful, the even heat distribution is such a game changer, cooking is a dream, everything comes out better! Cleans so easily and I’m in love with the silicone covering on the handle! Love that I can take it off and clean it. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these, everything you cook will come out better!

Exactly The Pan I Needed

After a few weeks of steady use, I can say confidently that this is a great non-stick pan. Heat distribution is fantastic due to the aluminum base. The non-stick surface appears to be durable (using only silicon and nylon utensils) and no matter how long I have left food cooking, not one issue in simply wiping away any residue before cleaning. The handle is long and the silicon wrap feels much better for "flipping", secure that it won't wobble or fall out of your hand.

The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the aforementioned aluminum base. You just look at it funny and it scratches. Again, after just a few weeks use the bottom looks like it has seen duty in a commercial kitchen. No staining, although I'm sure that's around the bend, but so many scratches just from washing and use on an induction and gas cook top. You can literally scratch the bottom with your fingernails.

Otherwise, a great investment.
