Our story

How we got our start
Ergodriven was born miles from any office. Hiking, swimming holes, and cliff-jumping created a few blisters and an important realization. Nature isn't flat. Feeling our joints articulate and stabilizing muscles activate as we traversed varied terrain really hammered home just how not flat nature is.
What makes our product unique
When we teamed up with specialists well-versed in biomechanics and dug into the research, it was clear that "flat" is just too little stimulation for healthy living. So we decided to start making things less flat with the one of the spaces we occupy the most - the ground right in front of our desks.
Why we love what we do
It feels so good to be working on products every single day that make people feel better. Absolute game changer for my standing desk
I work 6-8hrs per day at my standing desk and this has completely saved my feet. I’ve combined it with a lacrosse ball for extra massaging. Great variety of angles to stretch and stimulate your feet. The pad is soft enough to remove almost all foot soreness, yet hard enough to still feel very firm even on carpet. Honestly have already sent this to multiple colleagues and family members it’s been such a great purchase. It’s worth the price for me. Comes out to about $8/month for one year of use of this product, especially when many reviews have said it has held up well over 3-5 years. Love it!!

I use this mat under my standing desk. I have to say, I was a little skeptical about the "terrain" feature but I saw all the good reviews and decided to go for it.

Best decisions ever. The terrain really reduces fatigue, plus lets me stretch my calves easily while standing and working. It also keeps my feet moving so I don't stand in one position too long, and the pad itself is fantastic. Cushy but sturdy, just the right amount of give.

I work long hours at home and needed to make some changes to my work routine. Sitting at my desk was not good for my back or long term health. My physician recommended that I stand at my desk to alleviate back pain, and to get better circulation. Verdict

After drawing comparisons from the two mats, I decided to settle for Ergocomfy Mat over the Topo Mat. This is because the Ergocomfy Mat provides lots of extras. It’s more spacious and has got the most healthy benefits. This is a mat that’ll surely make me more productive as a standing desk user - a job that I really enjoy. And above all, I’m confident that it will last for longer and provide the most benefit for every penny spend.

I recently got a standing desk at word and after a couple of days of standing in my cube, I realized that I needed to get an anti-fatigue mat. Of course, I turned to Amazon to see what my options were. I read lots of product reviews of a variety of mats. I was very intrigued by this mat. I had heard that you should be constantly shifting your weight while using a standing desk and I thought that my feet would appreciate some variety in inclines, etc. So, even though it was pricey, I purchased it.

I've been using it for several days now and I am very happy. The mat is well padded, even on the flat part. I love the raised back of the mat; I do calf-raise type movements on it throughout the day. The ridges and the random bump in the middle of the mat feel good on my feet (I admittedly use the mat without shoes because, well, I can! :)).

The mat is larger than I expected it to be, so you definitely have to have room for it. You also can't roll your chair over it, so you'll need somewhere to store it when you want to use your desk at your chair, or at the end of the day if you need to move it for the cleaners who vacuum your cube or office. It will stand up on it's end, so you can lean it against a filing cabinet easily. It's got good padding on it. I'm significantly overweight and this has really helped my legs and feet. My back still hurts a bit from standing, but my legs and feet are doing well, even though my body's not really used to it. I got the grey color and it's a nice medium-grey color. I do wish it came in brighter colors -- I would kill for a robin's egg blue or pink one. The purple color didn't look very vibrant online; maybe it's better in person.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price. However, it is a small company and a well-made product that I literally use 3-5 days a week, so when you think about it that way, the price isn't all that bad.

The pad is soft enough to remove almost all foot soreness, yet hard enough to still feel very firm even on carpet. Honestly have already sent this to multiple colleagues and family members it’s been such a great purchase. It’s worth the price for me. If you get a standing desk, you’ll need a mat to reduce fatigue. Not just a flat mat, but one with contours to stretch your feet in different ways and move around with a sturdy material with some give for comfort. It’s not cheap but the benefits are felt straight away and you can use your weight to apply pressure in various places which almost acts as a massage. I stand the entire working day on this and happily recommend it.

Ich war bei dem Preis erst skeptisch, aber das Design gefiel mir so gut, dass ich einfach zugreifen musste.

Es macht wirklich Spaß, auf der Matte zu laufen, und so steigt die Motivation enorm, beim Arbeiten zu stehen. Ich mache eigentlich nichts anderes mehr, außer ich möchte mich für einen Film zurücklehnen.

Ich habe einen erhöhten Kalorienverbrauch festgestellt, also gehe ich davon aus, dass ich mit der Matte auch einige Kalorien verbrenne, was logisch ist, da man einfach nicht mehr stillsteht- oder sitzt, da man nun mal durch die kleinen Hügel auf dem Teil ständig daran erinnert wird, sich zu bewegen.

Die Matte ist außerdem sehr bequem, ich nutze sie fast ausschließlich barfuß. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sie auch für die Füße und dadurch den ganzen Körper gesund ist (vorausgesetzt, man nutzt sie barfuß).

Ho preso questo tappeto dopo aver visto il video del kickstarter da cui è nato, il quale è stato molto convincente nel elencare tutti i comfort. Usando una standing-desk ho voluto provarlo e devo dire che agli inizi sembra scomodo, bisogna prendere abitudine prima di tutto a stare sul posto, nel senso che il tappeto copre un'area specifica e non si può muoversi liberamente da una parte all'altra della scrivania. Il problema fondamentale l'ho trovato dover continuamente spostarlo dal pavimento (e riporlo da qualche parte) nei momenti in cui invece lavoro seduto (la scrivania è regolabile sia per in piedi che per seduto). Alla fine l'ho reso perchè non mi trovavo, ma non vuol dire che non sia comodo per nessuno, penso bisogni abituarsi semplicemente.

Paid AU$230 for this, yet I still believe it is worth the cost. The mat has the right balance of firmness. The terrain is great and I find my feet subconsciously finding new positions on it. The elevated rear is great for calf raises and often find myself using this the most. Compared to my previous anti-fatigue mats, it has solved my heel pains from standing for so many hours.
