I've used other kneeling pads and this by far is the stiffest. It is also the smallest diameter. Decent for one knee, but to have both on for an extended time is a bit uncomfortable. I work in healthcare and all of the floors are tile and concrete. This has a slight amount of cushion, so it does help slightly. I'm hoping these might break in.

I'm 5'11", 185 lbs and 66 years old, so my old knees need some TLC if I get down on the floor. This is a firm cushion for sure, but I find it has the right combination of firmness and cushioning for me. I've used other foam cushions that were too soft - I would sink through and feel the hard floor. This is just what my knees need.
