Thule Urban Glide 2 jogging stroller — Top Pick
Amazon deal price: $421; street price: $520

This is the best price we’ve seen since 2020 on our top-pick jogging stroller. The Thule Urban Glide 2 is lightweight and nimble, so it’s easy to maneuver and—because it’s better on pavement than trails—convenient for day-to-day use. We especially like its curved-handlebar design, which helps runners maintain good form. It offers all of the desired safety features we look for in a jogging stroller and can work for walking with a child from birth with an infant car seat and the appropriate adapter (both sold separately). “Babies should have full head and neck control before you strap them into a stroller for a run,” writes stroller guide writer Jenni Gritters in our article about jogging safely with a baby.

Our pick for best baby monitor with Wi-Fi capabilities, the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor.

Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor and Wall Mount — Our Pick
Best Buy deal price: $210; street price: $270

Our pick for the best Wi-Fi video baby monitor is expensive and may be more monitor than you need, but if you want a monitor that allows you to check in when you’re far away, such as at work or on the road, this may be the device for you. Its wide-angle lens streams crisp 1080p video to your phone, while its always-on audio feed allows you to listen in on your baby even after you leave the app to use other phone features. It can also store video and track your baby’s sleep patterns. Note that if you want to keep using most of the app’s features after the first year, the Nanit Pro requires a subscription; the cheapest annual plan costs $50.

Our pick for best infant car seat, the Graco SnugRide SnugFit 35 DLX.
Photo: Michael Hession

In our infant car seat guide, we admit that we’d “willingly pay a lot more for this infant car seat.” And now that it’s on sale, you actually get to pay a lot less. We found the Graco SnugRide SnugFit 35 DLX intuitively easy to install and blessedly convenient to carry. We also appreciated its anti-rebound bar safety feature, which not all brands offer.

The Britax Boulevard ClickTight, our pick for best convertible car seat that is easiest and quickest to install.
Photo: Michael Hession

Our runner-up pick for the best convertible car seat is stylish—it looks and feels plusher than even our top pick—and supremely easy to install, far more so than any other seat we tested. While all Britax ClickTight models feature the same proprietary installation system, we’re partial to the Boulevard model, which offers extra headrest padding and falls in the middle of the ClickTight line’s price range. Like most convertible car seats, it can be used in the rear-facing position only for kids up to 40 pounds, so it isn’t the best choice for extended rear-facing use.

Willow Go breast pump — Budget Pick
Amazon deal price: $263; street price: $330

The budget pick in our guide to the best wearable breast pumps is a more-affordable alternative to our top wearable pick that offers nine levels of powerful suction. Its wider-than-average range of flange sizes also makes it more customizable than many other wearable devices, and our testers found that toggling between all those speed levels was easy. Our biggest complaint is that the Willow Go is bulkier, less discreet, and a little louder than our top wearable pick—but again, the price difference here is significant.

Lalo The Chair — Another Good Option
Babylist deal price: $205; street price: $235

Sometimes when you live in a smaller space, you want baby gear that’s not only space-saving but also stylish, so you don’t look like you live in a daycare center. Enter Lalo’s The Chair, one of the other good options we highlight in our guide to the best high chairs. It boasts a Scandi-inspired, minimalist-chic design, it occupies a smaller footprint than our top picks, and it converts to a booster seat as well as a play chair. It’s also lightweight and outfitted with a reversible footrest and a removable, easy-to-clean tray.

A baby resting in a crib while wrapped in a Happiest Baby Sleepea Baby Swaddle.

Happiest Baby Sleepea baby swaddle — Our Pick
Amazon deal price: $15; street price: $30

What we like: Our pick for the best baby swaddle. The most effective swaddle we tested. Keeps babies snug and secure with a unique interior Velcro panel. Safe, comfortable, easy to use. Harder for babies to break out of than other swaddles.

Other things to know: Can be used with or without interior Velcro panel. In medium and large sizes, the shoulders unsnap to create optional armholes for one-arm-out or both-arms-out transitional swaddling. Down to $15 for the graphite planets and ivory planets patterns in the medium and large sizes; other colors also on sale.

The Maxi-Cosi Iora Bedside Bassinet (dark gray mesh sides, dark gray legs, and a smaller storage basket below) standing alone.

Maxi-Cosi Iora Bedside Bassinet — Our Pick
Amazon deal price: $189; street price: $240

What we like: Our pick for a spacious and sturdy bedside bassinet with storage. Stylish, sleek, and roomy. Adjustable vertically and horizontally. Generous lower shelf for storage. Easy, 10-minute assembly. Breaks down quickly to fit in included travel bag.

Other things to know: Mesh sides do not drop down for co-sleeping. A big bassinet with an even bigger footprint. A deep interior could make lifting a baby out more difficult. Matches the lowest price we’ve seen.
