Steve Kerr, head coach of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, has become a shareholder of Spanish top division football club Real Mallorca.
The 57-year-old, who has led the Warriors to four NBA titles and also coaches the U.S. national team, visited the island last summer to watch a game and has been welcomed on board by former Phoenix Suns vice-president Andy Kohlberg, who became Real Mallorca president and majority shareholder after a restructure this summer.
Kerr joins two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash, who is also a Real Mallorca shareholder.
