Canada winger Tajon Buchanan was taken to hospital after sustaining a broken leg in training on Monday.
Canada Soccer confirmed Buchanan had sustained a lower leg injury in training on Tuesday and had been taken to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
The 25-year-old was transported to hospital in an ambulance and the training session was ended following the injury.
A Canada Soccer statement added: “We will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
