Eddie Howe insisted Miguel Almiron missed Newcastle United’s FA Cup victory at Fulham through illness amid transfer speculation over the Paraguayan’s future.
The Newcastle boss said after the two-goal win at Craven Cottage that Almiron “has a genuine illness” and insisted he would like to keep the player in his squad.
