Wrexham striker Paul Mullin will miss the club’s summer tour of North America with a back injury.
The 29-year-old has undergone “minor spinal surgery” that will see him miss the club’s pre-season matches in the United States and Canada.
Mullin, who has scored 105 goals across three seasons at Wrexham, underwent surgery on a long-term back and hamstring issue in London in the middle of June.

Wrexham will play Premier League side Bournemouth at the Venue Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara, California on July 20 before taking on Chelsea at the Venue Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California four days later. The club conclude the tour with a game against Vancouver Whitecaps in Vancouver on July 27.
“The club’s three-time, back-to-back top scorer and player of the season has managed the injury through conservative treatment following three years of concern,” read a Wrexham statement.
“However, during off-season training it became evident that this approach would not be able to continue and, following several consultations, it was determined that surgery would be the best way forward.”
The club, who will play in League One — the third tier of English football — this season, added that the surgery was “to ensure he is fit for the majority of the 2024-25 campaign.”
