Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC and The Killers are all due to play huge shows over the coming weeks, British Summer Time Hyde Park will host gigs from Stray Kids, Kylie and Stevie Nicks and then there’s Reading & Leeds Festival, which see the likes of Liam Gallagher, Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Fred Again.., Gerry Cinnamon and Catfish & The Bottlemen heading up the bill at the bank holiday bonanza.
Long story short, there are plenty of reasons to leave the house this summer. To help you get started, we’ve rounded up the very best gigs that are taking place in July.

They’ve backed it up with a swaggering arena tour around the UK with a rotating setlist of absolute bangers. It finally touches down in London for a five-date run at The O2 Arena before a trip to Mad Cool Festival. The run of shows comes ahead of a ‘Hot Fuss’ anniversary residency at Las Vegas and beyond that…who knows?

The iconic rock band are currently on their first proper headline tour in over eight years, in celebration of 2020’s ‘Power Up’. The last time AC/DC were on the road, Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose had to step in on vocal duties but this time around, it seems that Brian Johnson is in ferocious form.

Megan Thee Stallion
After touring Europe and North America, Megan Thee Stallion is bringing her Hot Girl Summer tour to the UK. Stallion has promised the run of shows will be “the hottest event of the summer”. Her headline appearance at Reading & Leeds 2022 was “sleek, masterful and joyful” and with new album ‘MEGAN’ in her arsenal, who are we to argue?

Suede and Manic Street Preachers
Suede and Manic Street Preachers have a long, winding history together and, after touring together in 1993, the two bands have teamed up for another co-headline jaunt. North America has already experienced their combined might, and now they’re heading home. “It’s because we never belonged to anything apart from ourselves,” explained Manics’ Nicky Wire with Suede frontman Brett Anderson adding: “It’s really inspiring to have a band that you love playing with you. It’s like a friendly competition.”

Bruce Springsteen concerts are always epic. With an unpredictable setlist spanning several hours, Springsteen and his E Street Band know how to put on a show and this latest tour is clearly no different. Kicking off the three-month run in Cardiff at the start of May, the rock legend played b-sides, deep-cuts and generation-spanning anthems across the three hour gig. The entire run ends with a massive finale at Wembley Stadium.

Embracing everything from intimate folk, joyous synth-pop and all-out rock catharsis, these big outdoor shows are set to be something special.

Fresh from releasing their ninth studio album, the brilliantly rugged ‘Can We Please Have Fun’, Kings Of Leon are readying a huge headline tour. According to the band, they conceived the album as a direct response to constant offers of anniversary jaunts. But rather than relive the past, Kings Of Leon set out to “make something great” and kinetically current. Expect their live show to have the same determined energy.

And now she’s taking it on the road. As well as a string of European festival appearances, Lavigne is set to play a pair of massive headline shows that are sure to be utterly joyful.

D4vd may have made a name for himself with viral TikTok videos – and built a following thanks to songs created in his sister’s wardrobe, but from the moment he took to the stage, he’s been all about that live connection. An early gig at London’s The Lower Third was proof the groundbreaking Houston teen had something special, while this upcoming run of shows in support of 2023’s ‘Petals To Thorns’ EP, looks set to see him further flex his muscles.

Idles’ fifth album ‘Tangk’ is the most open-hearted we’ve seen the fiery punks, with vocalist Joe Talbot telling us it was made with the intention of making people dance.
