Customized Reshade preset, made possible via software made by Crosire; a open source Reshade that will, in this case, sharpen up game image by adding a few different layers. Mainly contrast, sharpening, ambient light tweaks and a fake mild hdr effect.

Two new presets; Shadetide (bleak) and Verminshade (bleaker).

Installation (older version but same steps):

Install Reshade 6.1.1 to your Vermintide 2 directory, Reshade installer will try to find your game .exe but if it doesn't appear in the list just manually set directory.

Example;

"steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries_dx12" (where you will find the .exe file: "vermintide2_dx12")

or

(steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries) - if you use dx11.
Shader will work on any of the dx versions of the game.

Use Reshade ver. 6.1.1 to be sure that the preset(s) work as shown in pictures.
If the downloadable Reshade version has updated beyond 6.1.1 and you install that newer version there may be issues, follow this "mirror" link on the main page and download 6.1.1 from 6 series repository.

Choose DirectX 10/11/12 option -> select all packages when installer ask.
Then extract and drag the preset files you've downloaded from my preset to the same location as the Reshade installer

While in game let the shader start up and compile, then hit "home", skip tutorial or not, look all the way at the top left you can see a left and right arrow, hit whatever direction arrow and find either "Verminshade" or "shadetide" preset

Images shown was taken with max settings, 1440p and DLSS -> DLAA upscaling

Keybindings

Home-key -> go to settings and setup your own desired key configuration for on/off, reload, switch preset etc.

Performance Friendly from my own testing I could bare distinguish any performance impact, maybe 5-7 fps loss. Your experience may vary depending on hardware.
