Are you tired of being literally ass-blasted by a giant monkey? Perhaps a certain lady's grab attack is so wide it could hug around your mother? Bored of hearing the same generic "super scary super epic orchestra boss theme"? (no shade to Kitamura, ily).
Well, achieve perfect zen with the pioneer of lo-fi hip hop, Nujabes, who produced music for the popular animation, Samurai Champloo (and other songs).
General Overview
This is a mod (1.0 version) that changes the main boss themes to music from the anime Samurai Champloo, and other songs made by the artists that contributed to it.
This was made in mind of either the gauntlets or the reflections of strength.
As of now, contains songs by Nujabes, Fat Jon, Force of Nature, and other similar artists.
A new file has been added that now replaces most of the ambient, combat, and miniboss tracks.
This is also my first mod, so if you find anything funny, just let me know.
I also recommend having your "music" volume at least one above your "effects" volume. The sounds of swords clashing tends to make it hard to hear anything else.
Keep in mind that the current track will NOT progress to their "Phase Two" parts unless:
1. One deathblow has been dealt
2. The current song ends
OR
There is a cutscene/phase change, like in Genichiro's first transition to Tomoe, or in Owl's fake surrender phase.
Otherwise, it will loop the first song.
Version 1.1 Changelog
- Now added a file that also replaces most of the ambient, combat, and even miniboss tracks. (This will overwrite the previous mod file.) Soundtracks from cutscenes and a few select areas have not been replaced.
- Corrupt Monk's theme has now been replaced with World Without Words - Nujabes from In Position - Fat Jon.
- True Monk's theme has been replaced with In Position - Fat Jon from KISMET - Amon Duul
- Main menu music has been replaced.
- Battlecry has been given a slight volume increase, and will now play without delay.
Hope you can forgive me for reusing songs!
Installation:
Unzip the folder, and place the "mods" folder into your Sekiro directory (there should already be one in there.) It will automatically sort the "sound" file.
If you're still confused, just place the "sound" folder into the "mods" folder after unzipping it.
