Well, it hides the crosshair when not needed. (weapon not drawn and no item / object / npc in focus)
Requires JIP LN NVSE Plugin.
Compatibility
Works with anything in Viva New Vegas:
Technical
The mod only switches the alpha level (opacity) of the HUD element.
Whenever you change your HUD opacity in the game settings, you might have to exit and restart the game for the mod to reckognize the new value.
v1.1 updates every 5 frames, while v1.1a updates every frame. I made this change because it feels much better. My tests didn't show any performance differences, but if you are concerned about that you can use v1.1 for potentially better performance in exchange for a less snappy feel.
