Makes Kim have the same gender as the player character, instead of the opposite gender.
Works for both classic Nehrim and the Steam release!
Important: This mod is NOT compatible with JustChill's Unofficial Nehrim Fixes! Unofficial Nehrim Fixes has its own method for swapping Kim's gender, so if you play with it installed (you should!) please check that mod's description!
(Leaving the mod up just for my meme screenshots, and also if anyone is playing the non-Steam version of Nehrim, since JustChill's mod is based around the Steam version)
Shameful admission(04.05.22): So, uh, I've only ever played Nehrim in German, and ... turns out my mod makes a couple of dialogues and quest logs German (only one I've seen so far, but I suspect there's a couple more; whenever another NPC refers to Kim with their gender it seems to break, which happens ~3 times during the game.) There is no fix currently; you'll have to decide if it's manageable.
I haven't had the time to play through the entirety of Nehrim again (the main quest takes a while), so... sorry. I'll get around to it when I next replay it!

So I made this while waiting on Enderal: Forgotten Stories back in 2018 because an old mod called "GayKim" wasn't working properly, and I had only uploaded this to the German forums. I've since ironed out a last couple of bugs (Kim being referred to as the wrong gender, mostly) and tested it with the Steam release; luckily, it works just fine!
If you're NOT playing the Steam version of Nehrim:
Just on the off-chance that using version 1.2 does NOT 100% work on the non-steam version, I have provided the original 1.1 from 2018 in the miscellaneous files.
I DO NOT recommend you use this, it still has a few wrong dialogues, but it is 1000% and definitely confirmed to work with the non-Steam version from two full playthroughs I did in 2018.
I will eventually check 1.2 with old Nehrim, but since Nehrim's main quest requires a lot of "playing properly" so you don't break any scripts, re-plays can take a while.

(Ich lass die Mod mal auf dem Nexus für die meme screenshots, und falls jemand noch die nicht-Steam-Version lieber spielt, da JustChill's mod für die Steam-Version gemacht ist)

"Genderswapped Kim" ist eine Mod für Nehrim, die das Geschlecht von Kim mit dem des Spielercharakters gleichsetzt (statt das gegensätzliche Geschlecht zu verwenden). Ich hab das ganze zusammengeschustert, da die alte Mod 'GayKim' nicht ganz so funktioniert hat, wie sie sollte. Mit Version 1.2 hab ich alle Bugs die ich finden konnte ausgemerzt und das ganze mit der Steam-Version von Nehrim getestet.
Falls ihr NICHT die Steam-Version von Nehrim spielt:
Nur für den Falle dass Version 1.2 nicht zu 100% in der Nicht-Steam-Version funktioniert findet ihr in den Miscellaneous files die originale Version 1.1.
NICHT empfohlen - Die Version ist leicht veraltet, hat an manchen Stellen noch den falschen Dialog zugewiesen, aber funktioniert mit 1000%iger Sicherheit mit der alten Version von Nehrim, da ich das ganze über zwei Playthroughs hinweg getestet habe.
Ich teste das ganze noch irgendwann, aber da in der Main Quest von Nehrim viele Skripte vorkommen die man nicht kaputtmachen sollte, dauert das leider seine Zeit.
