The original US release of Sons of Liberty on the PS2 had bloodier textures which were toned down to be less bloody / violent for the EU,
UK, & Japanese localizations. ALL versions of Substance, the HD
Collection, and the Master Collection also used these censored textures.

This resulted in some strange geometry being visible on the corpses of the
Tanker marines, as they had actual modeled knife wounds on their necks
that were just Ken-doll painted over.

• Konami has stated (as recently as 01JULY2024) that they're still fixing issues with the Master Collection, so be sure to report bugs via their support page here so they get fixed officially too!
