About this image

Was just finishing up reworking some of the character textures I use and thought it would be interesting to show a completely vanilla (no ENB ect) version of my character Reed and his modded self.

How do you add the tattoos? Also I've tried the mod and had some issues with it but it's still okay-ish. Unless there is another body mod I can use.

Lets see, first find a tattoo image or draw your own (I drew my own).
Then you need a mod to make the player unique I use: Unique Player and Followers REDUX. After that load up your characters skin texture in a program like GIMP or Photoshop (I use PS) and apply your tattoo to the skin texture and save it.

Thats the gist of how I made mine, there are tattoo mods on Nexus you could use as well.

I use Paint.net since I can't afford Photoshop nor do I want to (because of their new policy) and was told that GIMP breaks Fallout since I tried to use GIMP on a mod once. Basically crashes the game if I try. But I don't get is how you made A-Body to go along with Unique Player texture.

Yeah I use a old photoshop I bought many many years ago I dont like the pay per month s#*!, but that is odd about GIMP I know alot of people who use it. Perhaps you where saving the textures with the wrong format?

Unique Player and Followers tells you how to make any body or texture work with on the front page.
Just copy the meshes and textures from A-body into the Unique Player and Followers folders and overwrite them.

      Install Unique Player and Followers.
      Copy these textures from A-body:
      BaseMaleBody_d.dds
      BaseMaleBody_n.dds
      BaseMaleBody_s.dds
      BaseMaleHands_d.dds
      BaseMaleHands_n.dds
      BaseMaleHands_s.dds
      And paste them into: Textures\actors\character\PlayerHumanMale

      Copy these meshes from A-body:
      1stPersonMaleBody.nif
      1stPersonMaleBody.tri
      1stPersonMaleHands.nif
      1stPersonMaleHands.tri
      MaleBody.nif
      MaleBody.tri
      MaleHands.nif
      MaleHands.tri
      And paste them into: Meshes\actors\character\PlayerCharacterAssets

Ok, I've done that, just now. So do I just disable A-Body in order for this to work? Cause I already finished putting tattoos on it.

Why do you need to disable A-body? You want to use a different body for all other NPCs or something?
Just uninstall it I guess, or delete the meshes and textures that come with if you want vanilla bodies.

No, I just thought since A-Body conflicts with Unique Player I thought I would need to disable A-Body for that. But judging by your question and answer. I guess not. :P

Nope, no conflicts one edits the only player the other changes the meshes and textures of all NPC.
