About this mod

These mod adds 1 unused grenade from SP, 6 equipement items from MP (including boost pack), 3 equipement items from SnapMap and 1 new BFG grenade placed on all maps with some progression approach.

This is Beta Version of this mod.
New Equipment EM Mod doesn't require New Equipment EM Assets!

Implemented equipment:
  • Striker grenade - seeks 1 target and deals damage to it only.
  • Emp grenade - works in AoE and stuns enemies akin to Plasma Stun.
  • Kinetic Mine/Slicer - mine, which seeks target and deals AoE damage.
  • Proximity mine - C4 mine, which triggers when enemy nearby. AoE damage.
  • Threat pulse throwable - highlights all enemies.
  • Shield Wall classic - wall protects from damage and stops enemies - works for 20 seconds, but less, when damaged.
  • Health dispenser - spawns small health item.
  • Ammo dispenser - spawns 1 chainsaw fuel ammo equal to 1 fuel.
  • Boost pack/Latheral Thrusters - adds stronger jump.
  • Radiation grenade - deals AoE damage over time after explosion - has unique effect.
New:
  •  BFG grenade - BFG effects, including small BFG AoE with strong damage. Has longest delay before explosion.

Mod isn't compatible with other map related mods!

Mod requires DooMModLoader. Information about using Mods without it could be found on "Doom2016Mods" Reddit or in Modding Discord here: https://discord.gg/ymRvQaU.
Due to 11.04.24 update for Doom 2016 you need now to launch ModLoader and then game. Also you need to use +devMode_enable 1 in launch options.
LegacyMod or Doom Launcher can't be used for now.
Alternatively, you can downgrade your Doom version, so everything will work.
Here is method by beth:

  • winkey + R, then enter steam://nav/console
  • entered this into the steam console: download_depot 379720 379721 2206249600939156631
  • once it's done, i went to Steam\SteamApps\content\app_379720\depot_379721 and copied everything into my game's install (you can make backup of these files just in case)
