Preppocalypse is an expansion for 7 Days to Die, from the perspective of a Prepper. In the context of 7 Days to Die, a Prepper is a survivor who prepared in advance for adverse situations and made it through the initial ‘event’ stage and aftermath. Preppocalypse places the player in the subsequent afterwards.

Due to vigilance from before the initial ‘event’, a Prepper already has some features in place. These include increased inventory capacity, enhanced skill potential and choice, and access to other benefits considered helpful for survival. Preppocalypse recognizes a Prepper has an increased chance to thrive. As a tradeoff, in addition to the grunt, feral, and radiated hostile classes, there are ‘others’ out there to provide a more challenging and hostile environment. They will mostly be seen as game stage progresses, but be prepared for some surprises during Horde Night or in the biomes. This expansion builds on the post-apocalyptic theme of 7 Days to Die through an additive approach. As such, the majority of features will be very familiar. Additions are intuitive, enhancing, immersive, in context, supportive, and appropriately more threatening. While there will be periods of extremes, considered choices can restore balance.

Players can expect the following:
- Upgraded default zombies in the biomes, hordes, and Game Stage linked POIs
- Larger slot features with 60 slot player inventory, 3 slot forge, and 12 player crafting/scrapping slots
- Custom HUD
- A greater abundance of Prepper style quest POIs (custom and TFP conversions)
- Additional recipes that accommodate Prepper/Survivalist/Bushcrafter traits
- Upgraded and custom items to facilitate survival against stronger hostiles
- Custom questing opportunities as well as other game play features that are in context with a Prepper’s experience of the afterwards
- Custom Quality of Life features such as Fish Traps, Coops, and Hives
- Increased size of Old West, Rural, Country Town, and Towns (Cities remain the same for performance)

Installation instructions after downloading:
1. Extract the contents of the zip folder onto your Desktop or other appropriate folder/location.
2. Bring the files from within the Mods folder from the zip download into your own Mods folder in the main directory. It is generally located somewhere similar to this location. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods
However, this may be different depending on your installation. You should have a Mods folder because V1.0 makes one when the game is installed or updated.

Inside this Mods folder in your game, you should already have the 0_TFP_Harmony folder in there. Do not delete that as it was added by 7 Days to Die when installing or updating for the first time. It is required to run some mods with code added.

Your Mods folder should contain the following content to allow you to play Preppocalypse as intended:-
- 0_TFP_Harmony (This should already be there)
- V1-Preppocalypse (This contains all of the required files for Preppocalypse)

For the optional 'Crafting from Containers' feature, download 0-Score from here:
https://github.com/SphereII/SphereII.Mods/releases/latest
Once added to your Mods folder, the crafting from containers feature will be automatically activated as Preppocalypse already turns that feature on as a condition of it being added to the Mods folder.

Playing:
- Turn EAC off as it will not run with it on.
- There are a number of custom settings in the Game Menu Options such as increasing zombie count for Horde Night.
- There is no need to install mods such as 3 slot forge, larger backpack inventory, or custom HUD as they are already implemented. Adding additional mods may cause a conflict and override what Preppocalypse is attempting to do. Use other mods with care as they cannot all be supported.
- Known Issue: The Preppo car requires an update for V1.0 compliance. Wheel animation and steering is not functional yet.
