KID PHOENIX is a funny platforming game about a kid phoenix born in a water temple. Get him outta there!
Product of a one-week game jam, with the goal of making a platformer that just feels dang nice to play.
(we ended up working on it for a month)

Patch 1.1
- Player wallstick excluded from stairs
- Adjusted wallslide
- Dropping and diving from walls included
- Adjusted the player's collider
- Some general bugfixing
Seems fun, and I like that there is a timer to give a sense of urgency. Although there are a couple issues with the controls. Wall Jumping sometime doesn't work, It looks like the character is trying to jump but doesn't, also the jump forward distance seems mostly uncontrolable for small jumps, It launches me way past where I'm trying to jump to, also when falling, it wont let me stay center, making me stick to the walls and slowing my fall so the timer runs out and I have to restart.

works pretty well, i think. the platforming feels tight, though it feels a bit simple. the music is good.
Hop and Bob demo. Graphics use pixel art to make it as retro as possible. The controls could be tighter especially when it comes to jumping. Adding more checkpoints would be helpful.
