What we’re about
Who We Are -- The WordPress Santa Clarita Valley Meetup was established to build community locally as opposed to having to stay or drive to downtown Los Angeles or other surrounding areas to give back.
WordPress powers over 42% of the web and is propelled by contributions from people like you — so get involved and help shape tomorrow.
Overview -- Just north of Los Angeles on Interstate 5 is the city of Santa Clarita, the fourth largest city in Los Angeles County. Consisting of Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, and Valencia the Santa Clarita Valley is one of its fastest-growing communities.
With thirty-four parks/open spaces, three local commuter colleges (Cal Arts, The Masters' University, and College of the Canyons), a fledgling film studio and tech community, a nationally-known amusement park (Six Flags Magic Mountain), and a public transit system including local bus and regional Metrolink train service, the Santa Clarita Valley is the perfect spot to contribute to WordPress. This WordPress Meetup is open to all who love WordPress --- join us!
