Playset Installation

Gorilla Playsets are backed by a lifetime limited warranty on wood components, a three-year limited warranty on nonwood components and installation labor, and a one-year warranty on ropes.

Check with your local homeowners association (HOA), where applicable, to ensure permission and proper placement of the playset. Choose an area in the yard that’s flat and level. Anything beyond a 3-inch grade variance in your lawn isn’t ready for assembly, and preparation should be done prior to attempting to install the playset. Our installers won’t do any excavating of the site. If the site isn’t ready, installation will be delayed.

The playset wood is cedar. The swing chains are plastic coated to avoid pinching and rusting. We only use heavy-duty swing hangers and hardware attachments.

Any other changes or alterations and additions to the playset aren’t advised and will void the warranty.

The installation can typically be done in four to seven hours.

Every year, you should inspect all the fasteners and make sure they’re tight. Inspect all of the components of the playset — wood and nonwood — to make sure they’re in good working condition. Please refer to the safety and maintenance guide, which is located in the installation manual.
