Partner innovation was on full display at the recent VMware Explore in Las Vegas. Several of our VMware Cloud partners introduced new or expanded offerings designed to help customers accelerate and optimize their cloud usage, regardless of the platform or hardware they use. VMware Cloud on AWS now delivers expanded management and security services

Companies are always looking for more efficient and secure use of the cloud. We have enhanced VMware Cloud on AWS by integrating the VMware Aria products to give customers expanded enterprise management capabilities and a stronger security posture, right out of the box. The new enterprise capabilities also include automation and AI-powered operations management, so customers can get the most out of VMware and AWS from day one.

IBM Cloud becomes the first to leverage VMware Cloud Editions

VMware Cloud Service on IBM Cloud is one of VMware’s most adopted VMware Cloud offerings by Fortune 500 companies. This innovative offering now includes a VMware first. IBM Cloud will be the first public cloud provider to deliver VMware Cloud Editions as a Cross-Cloud Partner Managed Service. This brings a number of benefits to customers, including the ability to modernize faster with prescriptive fit-for-purpose VMware bundles deployed on IBM Cloud with the click of a button. This means even more hybrid cloud flexibility for VMware-based applications, combined with IBM’s security leadership.

A managed service with Equinix Metal

VMware Cloud on Equinix Metal is the ultimate solution for customers where data locality matters. VMware Cloud on Equinix Metal is a new distributed cloud service that gives customers performance, security, and cost-effectiveness even for their most data-intensive enterprise apps that rely on proximity for optimal efficiency. It is currently available as an Early Access Release, and several customers are participating in the Beta Program.

Oracle Cloud is now part of the VMware Cloud Universal Program

You’ve probably noticed a common theme for these partner announcements: greater flexibility. Welcoming Oracle Cloud to the VMware Cloud Universal Program is no different. VMware Cloud Universal is a flexible purchasing and consumption program that allows customers to choose multi-cloud purchase and consumption plans tailored to their digital transformational initiatives. We are excited to bring financial flexibility and options for enterprise customers to accelerate their cloud migrations and modernize their enterprise applications in Oracle Cloud.

VMware Cloud on Lenovo TruScale for customer on-prem deployments

Along with announcing its newest Reference Design for Generative AI in partnership with VMware featuring NVIDIA-accelerated computing and software, Lenovo will also deliver a future-ready, on-demand model with Lenovo TruScale Hybrid Cloud for VMware. This new private cloud infrastructure as a service offering brings together the resiliency and enhanced security of VMware Cloud infrastructure with the simplicity of cloud operations to help customers more easily scale hybrid cloud workloads on demand.
