Gratitude 2021: Not taking health for granted
Another trip around the sun and despite this year feeling like it may have fallen short of our collective end-of-2020 expectations, it has also prepared me for profound gratitude. Two years into a global pandemic will make you take stock and consider all the items that we used to take for granted.
This year has brought lots of personal and professional growth for me, and all of it has been made possible by something foundational: my health.
It has enabled me to continue to focus on the business, travel to meet new team members, and spend quality time with my family. I have even been able to invest in my physical health by running my first half marathon just a few weeks ago!
As you sit down for dinner this evening, I’m hoping you pause for just a moment, as I will with my family, and rejoice in the time we have together while remembering this gift of health that’s so easy to take for granted.
Make time for you, your mental health, your body health, as I hope we all realize how foundational these are to enjoying each and every day.
Here’s to you and your family and friends’ health as well as mine 🥂.
We have all persevered through this pandemic together, and I hope you share the same optimism that I have that we will come out of it together as well.

2yI have found that when I cultivate an attitude and environment of gratitude, life seems to offer more opportunities to stay mentally and physically healthy.

2yBody and mental health are super important and can’t been taken for granted. It was a great race, and I think we are ready for the next one 🏃🏊♂️🚴♀️
Mario Congratulations on completing your first 1/2 marathon. That is super impressive. I am running the Carlsbad 1/2 marathon in January and the training has really helped me focus on my overall health. Thank you for inspiring words and for being a good example to all of us. So glad your Thanksgiving was a Happy one. Wishing you all the best! Chanda
