Framestore announces participation in the Workforce Integration Network's Design Labs Programme

Framestore , the globally acclaimed VFX studio, is pleased to announce its participation in the Workforce Integration Network's (WIN) Design Labs programme. Developed by the Greater London Authority, this innovative programme aims to enhance hiring practices by promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce. It offers comprehensive support and guidance to businesses in overcoming barriers that arise during recruitment, retention, and career progression processes.

Framestore will join a select group of businesses in the eight-month Design Labs programme, collaborating to collectively address challenges and implement strategies that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within their organizations. By establishing a community of London employers, the programme encourages the sharing of best practices, the formation of robust networks, engagement of senior leaders, and the development of replicable frameworks across the creative industries, thereby driving sustainable change.

Framestore was introduced to the WIN initiative through its ongoing support for the NextGen Creative Skills Hub. The studio has been instrumental in providing emerging talent with workshops, studio tours, and project steering group support.

The WIN Design Labs programme is an integral part of the Mayor of London 's Skills Academies Programme, which aims to equip Londoners with the skills necessary to thrive in an evolving work landscape. As part of this initiative, the NextGen Creative Skills Hub delivers industry-endorsed training and support to emerging talent, with the goal of upskilling and inspiring the next generation of creatives from underrepresented groups. The Hub also collaborates with employers to break down barriers to employment.
