I can’t begin to describe how excited I am that Disney Epic Mickey is coming back on Switch and other platforms. (Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed - Nintendo Switch https://a.co/d/inte5Jo ) Everyone on the original team as well as the Purple Lamp and THQ Nordic teams that worked on the remaster did a great job bringing the game to life. The teams on that project were fantastic - it was obviously a real labor of love - and every team member can take pride in the fact that we created something that - like just about everything Disney - is evergreen. Being part of the company’s ongoing legacy of delivering family entertainment that lives on for decades is more than I could have hoped for. Only problem is they didn’t mention Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. That poor little guy can’t get no respect!

By a quirk of fate I ended up working for Disney again and helped out on the re-make, as you know. It's going to be very much liked by the fans! :)

My ALL TIME favorite game to this very day. From the incredible music (James Dooley), to the animation and storytelling throughout, just fantastic. I wrote you a letter when this game first released 14 years ago Mr. Spector, and it has been a huge part of my life ever since. I always return to wasteland each year, to fully complete the game and re-experience the magic and excitement from Epic Mickey. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to see it coming back after all these years! This game, as odd as it sounds, has been with me through thick and thin, got me through a lot of big moments in my life, and even my gamertag (Epicmickey19) was created and never changed, because of this game! Thanks for giving me, as well as so many others a masterpiece. Fingers crossed this isn’t the last we see Mickey and Oswald together! Warren Spector

I'm so excited for Epic Mickey to return! I've been asking for the game to come to the Switch for years now. I actually still have the drawing I got back when Downtown Disney (Now Disney Springs) did one of the last few Festival of the Masters (Which later became Festival of the Arts at Epcot) and the Epic Mickey 2 team had a booth to play test and buy the game a week early!

Epic Mickey’s art, character rigging, and animation left me gobsmacked. Then Disney Infinity said “hold my beer” and blew me away all over again. It would be great if The Power of Two gets the same treatment! I’m hoping this also opens up the possibility for Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 to be made available on Xbox storefront again, so parents can more easily share those wonderful experiences with their children (or grandchildren ) as well.

Mr Warren, super happy to see this game get another shot at life! It is a very underrated game. I met you back at PAX 2012 in Seattle when Epic Mickey 2 was being made and as a huge fan of your work, it was THE highlight of the con for me. I hope when the remaster comes out, you and the original dev team get the credit you deserve and would somehow love to see your involvement in Epic Mickey 3 if it were to happen. I look forward to seeing your future projects come to life and enjoying those as much as I’ve enjoyed Epic Mickey.

Can't wait til people see the new footage of gameplay. This is gonna be something special (and Purple Lamp really threw all the love in the world at the screen with reverence for the team's original work.) Let's go!

Mr. Warren huge fan of your Epic Mickey games. These games are the reason I learned about Oswald and ever since he's been my favorite character, I wanted to ask while I know Epic Mickey Rebrush is a remake of the first game. Will there possibly be a second remake of the powers of 2 in the cards and if so will that help to tie up the cliff hanger of the original powers of 2 game because we may not get a 3rd game. Thank you for making the games

This game was so good and I'm excited to introduce it to my kids. I probably reviews 400-500 games in my career. Played I dunno how many thousands. So, really, very few games end up being memorable. This was one of them.

Oh we were all excited when the announcement trailer dropped! Though I don't play video games, I love the Epic Mickey Franchise: It's such an interesting concept that, like the real parks, can be expanded to a variety of IP's (I also love it because it introduced me to the Gremlins such as Gus, Jamface, and Prescott). Coincidentally, one of my school projects is to create concept art for an existing IP, and I chose Epic Mickey, so you can imagine how excited I was when the trailer dropped. Thanks for Epic Mickey Mr. Spector! I can't wait to see its return!
