As we navigate the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, it's clear that many of us are still reeling from the widespread power outages, cell service interruptions, and damage to fences, roads, and homes. The loss of food and essentials is not only a blow to our daily lives but also a significant burden to our well-being. But there is hope. As many of us know, Hurricane Idalia made landfall early Wednesday on Florida’s Gulf Coast as a Category 3 storm (130 mph winds). It was powerful hurricane to make landfall in the Big Bend region in more than 125 years.    The storm has caused higher than normal water levels in some areas and has left over 300,000 customers in Florida and Georgia without power.   Due to the collaborative and proactive nature of our corporate and nonprofit partners, Good360 is able to help local nonprofits with typically needed items like shelter, tarps, tents, and many others, to help the most vulnerable survivors get the resources and shelter needed in the early stages of recovery. We call it prepositioning, and it's an essential component of our response in disaster recovery. We have prepositioned products and resources in Jacksonville, Ft. Myers, West Palm Beach, Miami, as well as Atlanta, GA. Items are stored in our network of nearly 30 shared warehouses strategically in areas likely to be impacted.  Over the next few days, governmental and nonprofit organizations will begin to conduct damage assessments and share more information about actual product gaps to determine what is needed. Supporting customers for their industrial needs might be what we do, but supporting the PEOPLE in need in our local communities is who we are! Countless families have been impacted by Hurricane Beryl in the Houston area, including some of our own team who sustained damage to their homes. With our headquarters on the Gulf Coast, we know all-too-well the devastation that comes with a direct hit from a Hurricane, and the messy aftermath it leaves in its wake for years to come. It's the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the Big Bend region, the nook between the panhandle and peninsula, in more than 125 years. The storm is causing flooding in some areas and has left over 400,000 customers in Florida and Georgia without power.
