A publication is due today! 💡 I received a challenge from Carlos in my last work update, way back in my 3-month baby milestone, to post a 300-day check-in update.
Now, I'm thrilled to share that I am celebrating 300 days as a Process R&D Engineer at SYSADVANCE . 🧠 I gladly accepted this challenge so after 3-week and 3-month updates, here is what I have learned in 300 days.
It has definitely been an incredible journey so far, filled with learning, growth, and the satisfaction of contributing to a company that's at the forefront of renewable energy and gas production and purification, from Hydrogen to Methane to indispensable industry staple gases like Oxygen and Nitrogen.
As a Development Engineer, I am involved in a multitude of tasks and decisions that can ultimately change our product forever, and to see this flourish into reality is quite an outstanding feeling of fulfillment and achievement. In 300 days I was able to develop and optimize several parts of our groundbreaking Methagen AD projects, by focusing on a standardization effort that allows for a digital-twin to be born: from thermodynamic and molecular analysis to mechanical dimensioning and design, from thermal and mass transport calculations to adsorption phenomena evaluation at the industrial scale or even hydrodynamics and phase-equilibria.
In what seems like so little time, I became part of something bigger. A company directed to the future, a large-scale organism breathing to create and push the boundaries of innovation everyday, leading to unprecedented breakthroughs, now a crucial global player in our energetic transition.
Renewables prove themselves, each day, to be our brightest beacon of hope: a tangible clean future energy vector to save the planet for our next generations to enjoy, not worry or try to save.
So who knows what the future holds for me, for us? Let us remain hopeful and continue walking towards a greener, cleaner and safer one. 🍀
