Beyond Self-Care: Fostering Resilience in Ourselves & Our Teams 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥. Here are some tips for building resilience as providers: ➣ 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: Establish healthy work-life balance and maintain clear communication with patients and colleagues. ➣ 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞: Prioritize activities that promote relaxation and emotional well-being, like exercise, mindfulness, or hobbies. ➣ 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Don’t hesitate to reach out to colleagues, mentors, or other mental health professionals for support. By managing our own stress, we can better support the well-being of our clients and colleagues. #StressAwarenessMonth
