🔗https://ow.ly/Jop450Stcng I recently attended a seminar for commercial lenders in Atlantic City, and one of the things that came through was specifically what lenders were looking for to get approved for a commercial mortgage. So, I have put this together as a cheat sheet for the average punter who does not have bankers beating down his door. Understanding these 7 key criteria can significantly enhance your chances of approval: ✔️ Strong cash flow and DSCR ✔️ Low LTV ratio ✔️ Solid net worth ✔️ Property in major MSAs ✔️ High-quality tenants ✔️ Compensating deposit ✔️ Comprehensive business plan 👉 For more insights and personalized advice, contact us at Commercial Loan Experts and look out for our upcoming AI-powered lending platform! "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see." Surely, the pending "maturity wall" is the biggest story in commercial real estate. No question, mortgage credit quality has eroded and default rates will continue picking up as the high interest rate dominos fall. ...but is it fair to say that talk of the pending "maturity wall" has reached a fever pitch? ...and is it fair to say the fever pitch is overblown? Here's a look at the $120 billion of outstanding, floating-rate SASB loans. Granted, the commercial mortgage market is a lot bigger than this $120 billion sliver. But $120 billion--primarily originated at peak collateral values with low, floating rates--provides a decent barometer. #maturitywall #creanalyst

Over the past few years, we've seen significant shifts in the commercial property and lending landscapes. Post-Covid, lenders have tightened and then eased their books, now offering more flexible LVRs and softened lending criteria. This has sparked a boom in the commercial property market, reflecting the increased cash availability. Nick Clunes - Mortgage Broker #commercialproperty #lendingtrends #postcovidrecovery

Fluctuating interest rates over the past year have led to a misalignment between buyers and sellers regarding purchase prices. Experts anticipate that as interest rates stabilize, this disparity will diminish, resulting in an anticipated rise in Multifamily transactions for 2024. Furthermore, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has expressed the opinion that lending could see a substantial 26% increase compared to 2023. This development enhances the probability of a boost in lending transactions. #multifamilyrealestate #realestateinvesting #physicianinvesting #multifamillysyndication #realestate #multifamilyinvesting #investingforbeginners #physicianinvestments
