Thomas German The fact that America is also funding Pakistan in an effort to keep its strategic control over India via Pakistan. Nevertheless, Indian PM's have been meeting and greeting Pakistani PMs and even American Presidents over the years. Donald Trump met North Korea supreme leader Kim Jong Un again in a bid to de-escalate and defuse the growing tensions and insecurity with their Nuclear Power. So, if you find this shameful or in some way supportive to the Ukraine Russia War you are mistaken as no President or leader of a country will have the courage go out of their way to an active war zone definitely not to support it but do its due deligence to know the situation first hand and the ground reality. India also did that with the Chinese leader to address the Indo China Border and Aksai Chin region where China has intruded and continues to grow into Indian territory. India resorted to peace talks how to resolve this issue instead of excalating it. India is know world over for its image to never support wars and always steps forward to diffuse tensions which they have done in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK).

A senior Indian official recently stated that Modi's main goal is to secure the release of Indian nationals allegedly tricked into fighting for russia in Ukraine. 💡During previous visits by world leaders, such as South Africa's Cyril Ramaphosa, China's Xi Jinping, and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan, russia has #escalated military actions in Ukraine. These coordinated attacks during state visits seem to be a show of strength from Putin. 💡Despite russia's daily airstrikes on Ukraine, world leaders continue to visit Moscow. On a daily basis Russia is bombing one of the biggest cities in Ukraine, Kharkiv, killing civilians and destroying the city infrastructure. Why Russians do it? Because the country is in the hands of bandits with fascist mentality. The more shocking question is why we allow them to do it? 👉 Kharkiv is need of air defence weapons. Yet, in the West politicians believe that Spain, Portugal, France etc. (check the map!!!) need them even more???! 👉 Russians shell Kharkiv from Russian territory. Yet, the USA will not allow Ukraine to use its weapons on Russian land???! 👉 we don't give Ukraine enough weapons or give them late???! 👉 we put weird limitations on how they can use it once they have it???! 👉 the EU continues supplying Russia (via Kyrgyzstan and Armenia) with pretty much what it needs???! ...while we continuously express our support and claim to stand with Ukraine!? The current version of Russia is existential threat to all of us and this shortsighted behaviour does not help anyone. Today is Kharkiv, we are next. #standwithukraine

There is a third possible way to satisfy the need for Ukrainian success and Russian failure, over which Putin would have no veto. The United States would give the Ukrainian military whatever it needs to advance as far as possible in its counteroffensive. At an appropriate point next year, Ukraine would declare a pause in offensive military operations and shift its primary focus to defending and rebuilding liberated areas while integrating with Western institutions.

This weekend marks the second anniversary of Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. The past two years have seen immense suffering, loss of life, and displacement. The war is the embodiment of Putin’s cavalier attitude towards the lives of others, thinking nothing of sending young Russians to their deaths and ordering attacks on Ukrainian civilians. Those who challenge his grip on power domestically, most recently Alexei Navalny, tend to meet a similar fate. As time passes, it can be easy to be numbed to this daily violence, but Ukraine’s need is as great as ever. Now is not the time for the West to lose interest. A failure to stand up for Ukraine today will only lead to an emboldened Putin tomorrow and a new age of insecurity on the European continent.
