Attending and participating in a party convention is a vital part of engaging with policymakers and advocating on behalf of clients for their policy priorities. The Avoq GOP Team was out in force doing just that last week in Milwaukee.
Whitaker Askew and his team successfully hosted the famed “Warehouse Party” – THE unofficial “late night” party every night of the RNC Convention. Each night, the party brought together more than 800 corporate sponsors, convention-goers, government and political leaders to enjoy live musical entertainment, networking and merriment.
Bryce Harlow was on the ground for two weeks working on the official proceedings of the convention. In conjunction with the campaign, his task was to be sure the official business of the convention was completed and that the convention program ran on schedule. Bryce and his team were responsible for over 100 speakers and all their logistics until they appeared on stage.
Natalie Farr Harrison was representing several Avoq clients at industry events, receptions and within the convention hall itself. She spoke on behalf of a client at a tech policy forum called Innovation Nation, attended by several Members of Congress and business leaders, and delivered a donation to a local charity on behalf of sponsoring entities.
