A key slide from my presentation last week at the DigiMarCon - Digital Marketing, Media and Advertising Conferences & Exhibitions in Jhb. At some level, we all suffer from confirmation bias, which limits our decision-making capabilities. Not having integrated OKRs and KPIs encourages teams and agencies to mark their own homework. This disconnect in people creates silos of data, which impacts omnichannel measurement. My perspective on this... There needs to be some level of independence regarding marketing measurement. Whether that's to set up your marketing reporting solution, manage it long-term or provide insights and ideation from it. An independent lens is needed based on your measurement maturity. By breaking down your people and data silos, you start to break down the glass ceiling of performance. #omnichannel #measurement #measurewhatmatters
