Today we celebrated two team members 10 year anniversaries. In today's dynamic business landscape, where change is constant and innovation drives progress, it's easy to get caught up in the allure of rapid turnover and constant churn. However, amidst the whirlwind of new hires and fresh perspectives, there lies a hidden gem that often goes unnoticed: tenure. Tenure within a company is not merely a measure of how long an employee has been with an organization; it's a testament to loyalty, dedication, and a deep-rooted commitment to the company's mission and values. While the trend of job hopping may seem appealing on the surface, it's crucial to recognize the immense value that long-serving employees bring to the table. Let's raise a toast to the tenured employees who continue to shape and enrich our organizations every day. Your contributions do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the unwavering dedication and commitment you bring to the table. Here's to many more years of shared success and continued growth together!

Wow! Time flies! Cannot believe it has been an year already in my new job! As I celebrate my first anniversary, was just reflecting on the successes and stories. What an year it has been with so many learnings! 1. Members/Customers First: We are there to serve them and give them the best 2. Employees are your Differentiator: Invest on people - Engage, Energize and Elevate 3. Focus on Value: While results matter, make sure value is realized 4. Balance Innovation with Operational Excellence: While transformation is important, do not ignore Business as Usual 5. Continuous Learning: Learn relentlessly - at every level irrespective of your role 6. Partnership is key - peers, business & vendors: Together, we could accomplish more, and faster, avoiding duplication And many more. I want thank all my leaders, team, peers, business and vendors for providing a warm welcome and extending amazing support. Looking forward to several more ahead! Exciting times! #workanniversary #lessonslearned #TeamSECU #WeAreSECU #peoplehelpingpeople

To launch the new year, I spent time reflecting on what drives me professionally and personally. Looking back, the times that jump out to me are almost always in alignment with solving meaningful problems (at home or work), creating positive momentum, and then working with discipline to sustain that long-term. I noticed that doing this isn’t an independent endeavor, but a collaboration with others to understand what matters and then drive to accomplish the work together. After 24 years, this continues to be the culture of medaptus, however, in 2024 we will be proactive in engaging our partners and customers to make this happen. It’s not a new start or dramatic pivot for us, but it will be a focused and driven approach from all areas of the organization. Increasing our customer-centricity will be the driving force for us in 2024, where we will continue to tackle meaningful problems, create positive momentum, and then sustain this beyond 2024.

It is so much fun to remember the good times we had at our 25th-anniversary party for Brilliance Business Solutions and to celebrate what a fabulous team. great customers, and partners that we have at Brilliance. Here are three things I love about our team: 1️⃣ Always striving to get better - You can see this when people set goals every few months ("rocks") and talk about issues to solve in the team L10s. 2️⃣ Supporters and cheerleaders - In our morning meeting, we cheer for each other when someone gets a certification, celebrates a work anniversary, or other important events. Folks write notes of gratitude to each other that are shared in Team Meetings. 3️⃣ Have high expectations for themselves - They work hard to be great at their job and they have some really impressive skills. One of the things that makes growing a business enjoyable is getting to know and spend time with awesome people. Thanks, team, for making it so fun! Thanks, Michelle Freiner, for putting together a great video to highlight the fun times, and thanks Ren Lenhof for the great photos!
We are extremely #grateful for our exceptional employees and partners who have been with us every step of the way throughout our 25-year #journey. 🙏 Their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in making our company the success it is today. We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for their amazing contributions and the invaluable role they play in our continued #growth and #success. 💙💙 Without our talented team, none of this would have been possible. Here's to the remarkable individuals who make our company thrive. 👏👏 Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for being an integral part of our incredible journey. Cheers to 25 years of excellence together! 🥂 #brilliance #cheersto25years #employeeappreciation

Reflecting on the end of the first month of the year, and what was my 10 year anniversary since joining Jack Hammer. It really wasn't intentional, and never did I imagine working somewhere so long. Yet I am still here and (mostly) having so much fun! Some might say that I should have moved long ago, but I wanted to share the reasons why you stay! You stay in a workplace that keeps you inspired, challenged, and invested. You stay when you're still learning, evolving, and contributing meaningfully, where you work with incredible people, and get to meet incredible leaders daily and contribute in a small way to better companies for people to work at, better leaders and people growing. For me 10 years is just the beginning! Here's to a decade of collaboration, innovation, and many more exciting adventures ahead! 🥂 #leadershipdevelopment #executivesearch #research #learning

I’ve been spending the last couple of days reflecting on this year and damn do I feel proud and grateful. Proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the work that I get to do. Helping leaders better understand how they can access and unlock an untapped capacity within themselves and their teams makes my heart come alive. Why? Because unlocking this capacity changes your life—personally and professionally. Not only does it create the bandwidth that we need to sustain the high performance demanded of us, but it also builds the inner foundation needed to hold the weight of the success that we work so hard to achieve. Far too many of us 🙋🏻♂️ have learned the hard way that the weight of success on a fractured heart only increases the fracture. Yes, I care about the huge sales deal that you just closed or the promotion that you just landed, but I care more about you having the bandwidth in your life to go home after it’s all done and be wildly present with the people that you love. And to do this well, we need capacity. But, that’s not all. Yes, creating more capacity drives greater engagement, performance and more sustainable success, but that’s not what lights me up about this work. What lights me up is that when we commit to the process and say yes to the inner aspects of growth that unlock the untapped capacity within each of us, we start the process of reclaiming the parts of ourselves that we’ve sacrificed on the altar of ‘getting by.’ And as we learn how to reclaim these parts of ourselves, we restore our sense of wholeness. And if you ask me, right now what we need arguably more than ever before are whole leaders—leaders who stay connected to their center, lead from a place of groundedness, and most importantly—serve from their overflow. Here's a question for you as you close out this year and move into 2024. In a culture that screams bigger, faster, stronger, what would it look like to go deeper?

The gap we bridge excites me!!!! This happened a while back and was wondering when we'd share... this news is music to my ears. Those in this space understand how important absorption is. And finding a perfect host employer is key... We deliberately partner with small businesses rather than big corporates. We understand what they are trying to build and we want to grow it with them.. We could easily collaborate with well-established companies, but it will sell out our mission... Because we are clear on this one thing: we Grow People. Grow Businesses! One intern at a time. One business at a time. It's a marathon this, not a sprint 😉 Did you get to listen to this conversation: https://bit.ly/4bgXqNI Care to hear your thoughts...
Congratulations on becoming employees ...Lebohang & Katlego from our 2nd cohort 🎉 🎊 🥂 . Kudos to our host employers who see value in our work... For this reason, we grow businesses by growing people... Perfect combo.

GCAE-SE- Business Development in Midroc Investment Group glbd@midrocinvestmentgroup.com AND Advocacy Sub Board in Addis Ababa Chamber (AACCSA) +2519 11656512 +251934422672 malericontact@gmail.com
AACCSA Advocacy Wing Access yo finance to business (Manufacturing, Construction, Import and Export etc Thanks all !!!!! Around 53% of financial access is given to the private sector, especially in 2023. On average, there has been a 27% increase in loans over the last three years. Among the estimated 120 million people, an average of 2 million private sector entities took out loans, accounting for approximately 1.6%. A large number of SMEs receive credit from Microfinance Institutions, but only have access to 7% of the total financial access. The share of public bank loans was 77% ten years ago, but now it has decreased to 48.5%, with private bank loans increasing from 23% to 53.5%. Generally, there is an increase in the demand for loans, however, banks face challenges related to leverage and deposit growth. Simultaneously, deposit growth is currently at 25% in private banks, public deposits have increased by 27%, while deposit growth in the private sector stands at 22% and public bank deposit rate is 25% in 2023. Liquidity is a problem. Personally, I also need access to finance but have no collateral. Do any of you have collateral? However, the bank requires collateral, which is also a problem. Oh, I have not repaid the loan I took for unplanned expenses from my wife. Do you have similar scenarios? Banks in Ethiopia also face problems with defaulted or expired loans and full default. Both banks and the private sector need to work on appraisals for repayment, and banks should reduce collateral requirements. Inflation also plays a role in the problem of financial access in the background. These are the notes I took from the panel discussion with experts from the National Bank, Development Bank, Private Banks, and international Banking service organizations today at the Interluxury Hotel, Addis Ababa. On a personal note, the implementation of the Capital Market will solve most issues. Until then, I hope that the manufacturing, construction, import-export, and agricultural sectors can overcome these financial access challenges. Oh, and myself too.

It is always a great pleasure to join my hardworking friend and Ghanaian Technology partner, Victor Tagborloh, representing Elon Musk's Starlink operations in Ghana to discuss what we love to do and are passionate about in Ghana geared towards economic development of our dear country Ghana. Ghana needs bold solutions for now and our future, so join the conversation on how Starlink and 5G in Ghana could complement each other in bridging the digital divide, saving lives and empowering businesses in the transformation of Ghana's economy in our digitalization efforts. 5G is now 5 years into existence and Ghana is trying to catch up but it is better late than never and the value of combining 4GLTE, 5G and Starlink solutions with Zero-Trust Cyber Security Architecture is non-negotiable globally for all economies. As a pioneer of Mobile Fixed Wireless Access solution(SIM-based) in Ghana since 2016, I understand the needs of critical enterprise customers better in Ghana and FWA is a great candidate in all broadband offerings with the Intersection of Terrestrial(Mobile) and Non-Terestrial(Space-based) Networks. My experience in Ghana has taught me that starting with the customer experience and working backwards in using the right technology offering is key and not just having the technology and trying to figure out where you are going to sell it as Steve Jobs once said. I love all potential Ghanaian enterprise customers and they are the reason I spent close to 9 years of my salaries and affordability mandates on Ghana government payroll since January, 2016 to work for them in Ghana as well as sacrificing work efforts worth millions of dollars to pioneer Ghana's first Mobile FWA solution over 4GLTE designed in 2016 at St John of God Hospital at the capital of Tano North Constituency and approved in 2021 on a Hospital platform in Kumasi by Ghana's Telecoms market regulator, NCA. Ghanaians should be grateful to the current government through the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation for the opportunity for Ghanaians to be served with both Starlink and 5G by the end of the year as it is better late than never.
