I'm glad to announce the release of BabelBrain 0.3.2. This version has two significant improvements and features. The first one is that, in collaboration with Rogue Research, BabelBrain can be called directly from Brainsight v2.5.3, which will be released shortly. I want to thank the amazing team at Rogue Research (Alex, Sean and Seun) for the hard work in the last months that made this joint release a reality. The second improvement is that we have significantly improved how ultrasound sources are modelled in BabelBrain. This not only improves the precision of simulations but also has a knock-off effect in the next release of BabelBrain (0.3.4) will make calculations of transcranial simulations (Step 2 in BabelBrain) to be reduced by 30 to 40%. We expect to release the next release in a few weeks from now. There are also other significant improvements and fixes that can be consulted in the release notes. The new builds for macOS ARM64, macOS Intelx64 and Windows of BabelBrain are available at the usual Github repository https://lnkd.in/gvjHhWZR

Many blockchain companies purport to be on a mission to fundamentally change the internet, but when the onion gets peeled back you’ll ultimately find the same centralized cloud providers powering the technology behind their chains. If the end result of all this is just for the incumbent tech lords of the last twenty years to get further entrenched in their moats, what’s the point really? Blockchain should be decentralized from the ground up, not just starting at the chain level. Yesterday Fleek launched Testnet {3}, and for the next few weeks developers have the ability to use a code playground to build and run javascript functions on the Fleek Network. >>http://play.fleek.network<< This is a big deal because it’s the first time the public has been able to experience running something on a decentralized edge network. For now it’s java script functions, but as Fleek continues it’s march towards a long term test net, and then a targeted main net later this year, the quantity and diversity of services and integrations that will be built on the network will continue to expand. Before long, Fleek’s usefulness for developers will be on par with the incumbent developer solutions that have colonized the internet. And it will be just as performant (if not more so). And it will be much, much cheaper. And it will be decentralized. A broad array of businesses will be built on top of the Network, while the Fleek platform becomes a hub of integrations and features that developers want to see available to them. Today it’s a code playground and javascript functions, but the long term vision with Fleek is to enable any developer, from any chain or no chain, to build the things the world wants in a way that is sustainable and open.
Fleek Network Testnet Phase {3} is officially live ⚡ This phase is the first showcase of Fleek Network's edge computing features, establishing a foundation for future services and use cases to come in Phase {4} and Mainnet. In Phase {3}, participants have the opportunity to create and deploy decentralized edge functions powered by Fleek Network. The code playground is live for anyone that wants to deploy their first Fleek Network Edge Function: https://lnkd.in/dyEuj5HT For more information on Phase {3}: https://lnkd.in/dpX_bV8k

🌐 Are you attending the Edge Computing Expo North America on June 5-6, 2024, in Santa Clara? 🌐 If so, make sure to stop by our booth to discover Spectro Cloud's Palette Edge solution — making Edge Kubernetes easy! 🚀 Edge computing is complex, but it doesn’t have to be hard. Let us show you how to manage Kubernetes clusters across thousands of edge locations with the same simplicity and control as your cloud workloads. Edge: Driving Innovation at Scale, from AI to IoT Edge computing puts applications, along with the compute and storage they need, closer to users and data sources on the front lines of your business — be it a restaurant, factory, or battlefield. Trends like AI and industrial IoT are propelling edge computing into the mainstream, with Kubernetes as the platform to orchestrate containerized apps at the edge, just as in the data center and cloud. 📊 Key Insights: 49% of enterprises are deploying Kubernetes to the edge today 21% expect “strong” growth in edge Kubernetes in the next 12 months But edge can be challenging. With no centralized IaaS-like management, no IT skills on-site, and often unreliable connectivity, conventional approaches just won’t work. 🌟 Visit us to learn more about overcoming these challenges and revolutionizing your edge computing strategy with Spectro Cloud's Palette Edge! See you there! #EdgeComputing #Kubernetes #AI #IoT #EdgeExpo #SpectroCloud #Innovation #TechExpo2024
