This fall, I'm embracing the idea of taking an entire month off. While it might seem unconventional, at least in the US, it's a chance to disconnect and reflect on the importance friends, family and growth. The video below, although humorous in nature, touches upon the important topic of work-life balance. Warning "Radical" statements follow: Any company enforcing a fixed number of "sick days" should be required to actively contribute to the health and wellness of their employees. This includes providing access to gym facilities, offering excellent healthcare benefits, and designing a workday/week that supports the well-being of every team member. Integrating a meaningful amount of vacation days as part of a broader health initiative underscores our belief in the mantra: work hard, play hard.
