STEVE JOBS ON CONSULTING While I have great respect for Steve Jobs' career and opinions, I respectfully disagree with this statement. The type of consultant he describes is one who does not prioritize the well-being of their client's company, product, employees, or the founder's vision. However, in my opinion, consultants do care about these aspects. At least, this is the type of consultant I am. It is absolutely true! Consultants do not know your venture better than you do, and they do not care about your venture more than you do. However, what a consultant can offer you is something invaluable: a rational opinion and a fresh perspective. Consultants will tell you what you may not want to hear, but need to hear.
