One of my bigger learnings from recruiting lots of content creators to work internally for brands. If you want to have a creator making content around the in’s-and-out’s of the brand, the more you can integrate them into your culture, the better. In the best scenarios, the creators - know the products well - talk to the different teams and know the brands culture - spend time together - are close-to or are already existing customers of the brand - are invited to attend meetings, company outings, and events - actually feel cared for as a member of the team, even if they are 1099 contractors only making a few videos per week Some of the best content will come from the deep nuances of the brand, and the only way for a newcomer to learn those is for them to be welcomed in.

It possesses its own distinct URL, often not bearing the name of the sponsoring company. Essentially, if you've registered a new domain, you've built a microsite. 🤔 How do we use interactive mircosites in our marketing strategy? At Ceros, we strategically utilize microsites as a potent tool to fuel our Top-of-Funnel marketing efforts and amplify brand visibility. By crafting microsites that focus on topics within or adjacent to our industry, we effectively seize our prospects' interest, subtly intertwining our brand and ushering them towards our primary website for a deeper dive. These tools, although frequently utilized by our target audience, don't compete with us directly. As a visitor, you can explore each tool in depth. This microsite could come up in a google search for something less closely related to Ceros like “free audio tools” and once on the site, that visitor can see that it was created in Ceros and click over to our website to learn more. These are the kinds of projects I love to work on!! Collaborating with five amazing creators to craft content that hopefully feels more than just paid partnerships. Our objective was to demonstrate how the product seamlessly integrates into the practical scenarios creators encounter daily, diverging from the traditional product review videos. Throughout the process, we remained focused on our principles: - Allowing creators to develop their own concepts and create content they are genuinely passionate about. - Seeking their input on the best strategies for supporting the main content and leveraging their respective channels. - Granting them control over the title and thumbnail. - Avoiding scripted product placements; instead, empowering creators to seamlessly integrate products into their content in their unique style. - Fostering collaboration and establishing a genuine partnership with the creators, trusting and supporting their perspectives—similar to our approach when working with agency teams. While these principles may seem straightforward, it's blows my mind how many creators I've encountered who've had experiences that are the total opposite.
