Radically different ❌ Women’s rights are one of the main targets of the far right across Europe and they’re likely to implement these restrictive measures at EU level if they have the win that’s planned for them. The European elections next June will be a pivotal moment for the future of the EU. As we witness the rise of political forces that question basic fundamental rights and democracy, at our strategic meeting at the Parliament in Strasbourg today, we bring LGBTI activists together with politicians from the LGBTI Intergroup to engage on the Europe we want to see. LGBTI activists Luca Dudits from Hungary and Guglielmo Giannotta from Italy have both pursued successful campaigns for LGBTI rights in their countries and are ready to mobilise their communities to get out to vote in the elections. #euelections #europeanunion #europeanparliament #lgbti
